Frozen Embryos

These embryos are currently frozen in liquid nitrogen. Pregnancy rates of 60-70% are expected after their transfer into a healthy recipient mare. If desired, these embryos can be purchased pregnant into a recipient mare. For more information on each of these embryos click on the Mare / Sire box. In general there is not a large inventory of frozen embryos, since most are sold prior to being made. Please also look at the donor mare section and we can put you on the waiting list of some of the mares and make the cross of your choice.

These embryos are currently being carried to term by a recipient mare. All the donor mares are proven either by their own performance, their bloodlines and athletic ability and for the performance of their offspring.

Embryo Donors

These mares with top bloolines and / or performance records can be scheduled to produce embryos with the stallion of your choice. The embryos can be shipped frozen to your farm, or pregnant into a recipient mare. For information on each one of these horses please click on the mare's name. To obtain a pregnancy from these mares you have to pay a mare fee plus veterinary cost. Most mare fees vary from CA$4000 to CAN $12000 per pregnancy (US $3060 to $10.000).
